COVID-19 turned the world upside down and caused many Alberni Valley businesses to close their doors, for the greater good. These businesses have helped Canadians in the fight to flatten the COVID-19 curve.
Here at the McLean Mill Historic Park we were just about to get started, getting ready for an exciting and eventful summer of 2020 – and all of a sudden we found ourselves delivering the messages of weddings and events being cancelled.
We were heartbroken.
Now, in the midst of getting ready to re-open under enhanced protocols, an advance purchase of a gift card for our gift shop or cafe represents a gift in so many ways. It can be for you, a loved one, a neighbour, work colleague – virtually anyone.
This initiative is driven by the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce through a partnership with the City of Port Alberni and WebMax.ca of Sooke, BC, whose owners are past residents of Port Alberni.
We thank you for supporting local business, for shopping local, and for flattening the curve or as we like to say in Port Alberni – #FlattenTheHump.
