  • 7 serviced R.V. sites – Power hook-ups & water ($42/night).
  • 4 un-serviced R.V. sites – No hook-up services ($35/night).
  • 4 rustic tent sites – No hook-up services. Walk-in site, parking nearby ($23/night).

Rules & Restrictions

FOR THE COMFORT OF YOUR FELLOW CAMPERS PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND OBSERVE ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS.

CHECK IN:

Between 1pm and 4pm Thursday-Sunday at the McLean Mill Admin Office

Access to your camp site: anytime after 2pm


CHECKOUT: 

Before 11am to avoid being charged for an additional night accommodation.


QUIET HOURS:

11pm to 7am

No music, running of vehicles, or other noise is permitted. Excessive notice and generators are not allowed at any time.


MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY:

Weekdays – 1 night

Weekends – 1 night

MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STAY:

4 nights (special exceptions may be made from time to time; requests must be made in writing)


MAXIMUM CAMPERS PER SITE:

Maximum of 5 people per site (exceptions will be made for 2 adults with dependent children up to 6 people).


VISITORS:

A maximum of 3 additional visitors are allowed at your site until 11pm.


CAMPSITES:

One sleeping unit per site. A see-through/screened kitchen is also permitted. Any campsite changes must be approved by the campsite manager/staff.


WASHROOMS:

Washrooms in the Historic Site are open to campers (no shower) during regular business hours. Washrooms in the main Courtyard, with warm running water, are available during regular business hours. Portal Toilets are available 24hrs.


VEHICLES AND PARKING:

Two vehicles are allowed per site unless otherwise organized with the office. Vehicles must be registered with the office and must have the parking pass clearly displayed. Parking is allowed only in the designated areas: (a) in the campground parking lot and; (b) in the main historic site parking lot.


Driving on the site, with the exception of the parking areas is strictly prohibited. Speed limit is 10km/h. Please take care as children may be playing in the campground.


INTERNET/WIFI ACCESS:

Cell service is weak/almost non existent on the historic site. Strong signals can be accessed within a 200-meter walk towards the main parking lot or at the entrance to the site at Smith Road.


SAFETY AND SECURITY:

We will not be held responsible for any incident that may occur on the campsite, in the parking area or any adjoining park or trails.


We are not responsible for vehicles or belongings brought onto the campground. Please lock your valuables in your vehicle whenever possible.



CAMPFIRES:

Campfires, smoking, vaping, fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited at the campground.


PETS:

Pets must be on a leash at all times and are not to be left unattended or in any way become a nuisance to other guests. Pets are not permitted inside any building and owners are required to clean up after their pets. Excessive noise or allowing pets to roam off leash could result in you being asked to leave the campground. Please be aware that there is a maximum of two dogs per site, unless otherwise organized with the office.


WILDLIFE:

Do not leave any animal attractants (anything with a scent) unattended in your site, when you leave or go to bed. Pack everything into your vehicle.


Wildlife attractants include, but aren’t limited to: food, garbage, coolers, EMPTY COOLERS, bins, dirty stoves, dirty dishes, cans, empty cans or bottles, soap, and toiletries. Also, pet items can carry a scent. Remove any pet dishes or toys as possible attractants. 


DIRTY CAMPSITES:

Sites will be cleaned immediately by our staff and will result in a $25 cleaning fee that will be charged to the credit card on file.


PRIVACY:

Please respect other people's privacy and refrain from walking through occupied sites.


GARBAGE:

Please place all garbage in dumpster provided in the parking lot. Keep your campsite clean. Wildlife including bears, crows, squirrels, and raccoons can become a nuisance when food and garbage are not properly stored.


Cans and glass bottles are not to be thrown in the garbage. Please pack out what you packed in.


ALCOHOL AND SMOKING:

Smoking, vaping and the consumption of cannabis is not permitted in common areas or buildings.


TREE CUTTING:

Do not cut or limb trees anywhere on the campground.


BREACH OF RULES:

Dangerous or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and will result in an automatic eviction of the entire party. There are no refunds if you are evicted.


SECURITY:

The campground operators are not responsible for vehicles or belongings brought onto the campground. Please lock your valuables in your vehicle or carry them with you whenever possible.


IN CASE OF EMERGENCY:

Call 911. Cell service is patching at the Historic Site. You may need to proceed to Smith Road or the main parking lot by the Administration Building to receive the best signal.

CAMPSITE CHANGES – Any campsite changes must be approved by staff at the Admin Office.
